COVID-19 Protocol & Resources
The COVID-19 School Report Card dashboard provides daily updates on the reopening status and COVID testing results for the staff and students participating in-person instruction on our campuses. We also provide information on the past seven days of COVID testing among all of the schools located in the same Community of Schools, along with District-wide results as well. Information on community case rates are based on publicly-available data from the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

Resources
Close Contact protocol
Close Contact: A Close Contact is a person who shared the same indoor airspace with the infected person during the infectious period (beginning 48-hours before the Index Case’s Positive test result or symptom onset) for 15 cumulative minutes or more over a 24-hour period. Site administrators may limit designation of close contacts to individuals who were within 6 feet of the infected person for 15 minutes or more over a 24-hour period. Persons with an outdoor exposure at school are not considered close contacts.
Positive covid test protocol
Positive Test Results: If an individual tests positive using a rapid antigen test, the individual should follow isolation protocols and stay at home, and upload the positive test result to Daily Pass as soon as possible. Positive test results need to be uploaded into the Daily Pass at dailypass.lausd.net, with a photo of the test kit that includes the following written on a separate piece of paper:
A. The individual’s full legal name
B. The individual’s date of birth
C. Test date
D. Test result (“POSITIVE”)
E. Individual’s last date on site
TESTING TO RELEASE FROM ISOLATION
If you have tested positive for COVID-19 and you are asymptomatic, you may wish to take a rapid antigen test on or after Day 5 of your isolation period to return early to work or school. Rapid antigen tests are available at your school or worksite. A photo of the test result must be uploaded onto the Daily Pass and include the individual's full name, date of birth, and date of test on a separate piece of paper, visible in the photo. Test results will be reviewed for approval by the Community Engagement team.
