Meet Your Kinder Teacher Day!
Each year, incoming Kindergarten students and their grown-ups get to meet their new teachers and classmates the week before school starts. Families will hear from the lead Kindergarten teacher about what to expect for the first day of Kindergarten. Students will meet and share a snack with their new classmates and teachers.

Facts about Overland Elementary
Enrollment
FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR:
You should schedule an appointment (Appointment sign-up window will open January 16, 2024) to pick up or drop off paperwork if:
- Your residence is within Overland boundaries (neighborhood families) and you are enrolling in TK-5th grade.
or
- You have been accepted for a SAS permit to attend Overland through the LAUSD choices system.
or
- You have been accepted for a Childcare permit to attend Overland Elementary School
PLEASE NOTE: Neighborhood enrollment for the 2024-2025 school year begins March 5, 2024. (Enrollment Packets Pick Up will start on February 6, 2024 & Drop Off will start on March 5, 2024.)
In the 2024-25 school year,
TK will be available to students who turn 5 between September 2nd and September 1st.
Permit Enrollment
For families who do not live within the boundaries of Overland Elementary (check your address here), you may apply for a School for Advanced Studies (SAS) permit to attend Overland.

IMPORTANT: The application period for 2024-2025 school year is open from October 2 - November 17, 2023.
